Economy[edit | edit source]
The Economy in Republik of War is a player-driven system where citizens contribute through work and company management to produce and trade essential goods.
Core Activities[edit | edit source]
Working[edit | edit source]
- Purpose: Earn Template:GOLD and Economic Points (EP).
- Mechanics: Perform the 'Work' action once per game day. Your earnings are based on your base production (linked to Intelligence) and a random productivity bonus.
- Economic Skill (ES): Accumulating EP increases your ES level. Higher ES provides a bonus to your daily Template:GOLD income and increases the base production of any company you own.
- Taxes: Income from working is subject to Work Tax, set by your country's government.
Companies[edit | edit source]
- Creation: Any citizen can create a company for a fee (e.g., 5 Template:GOLD). You choose a product type (Food, Weapon, House) and a quality level (1-5).
- Production: Companies produce goods daily. The base output is determined by the company's quality. Actual production is boosted by the total work points contributed by employees and the owner, which is influenced by their Economic Skill.
- Employees: Citizens can apply for jobs at companies. Employees contribute work points and receive a salary in Template:GOLD, set by the company owner. A country's Congress sets Salary Tax, affecting the net salary received.
- Upgrading: Companies can be upgraded with Template:GOLD to increase their base production (quality level). The cost increases with each upgrade.
Marketplace[edit | edit source]
- Buying & Selling: Players trade Food, Weapons, and Houses on a global marketplace.
- Selling: Anyone with items in their inventory can list them for sale, setting their own price per unit in Template:GOLD.
- Buying: Players can browse market listings and purchase items from others.
- Import Tax: When buying items produced in another country, an Import Tax (set by the buyer's country) is applied to the transaction.
Resources[edit | edit source]
- Definition: Natural resources (Food, Weapon, House) tied to specific regions on the map.
- Production: Each region produces a certain amount of its resource daily. The quantity depends on the resource's level (0-5) in that region.
- Management: A country's Congress controls the daily distribution of these raw resources among its companies via laws.
Key Concepts[edit | edit source]
- Economic Points (EP): Earned primarily by working. Used to calculate Economic Skill.
- Economic Skill (ES): A level derived from total EP. Boosts work income and company production.
- Base Production: A citizen's inherent productivity, influenced by Intelligence.
- Work Points: The contribution a worker (employee or owner) makes to a company's daily production, based on their ES.
- Taxes: Work Tax (on income), Salary Tax (on wages), Import Tax (on cross-border purchases) affect economic transactions.
